Jamie Thompson – Co-Founder and Commercial Director
After a decade working on the lender side of commercial finance, Jamie recognised a common challenge: many business owners were unaware of the wide range of funding options available to help grow their businesses. This realisation inspired the creation of Fenbridge Finance — a company dedicated to supporting business growth by making finance more accessible and transparent.
Jamie’s approach is deeply client-focused. He believes in looking beyond the immediate funding need to understand the bigger picture of each client’s journey. By taking the time to get to know both the business and the person behind it, Jamie ensures tailored support that opens doors and enables owners to focus on what they do best — running their business.

Tom Houghton – Co-Founder and Technical Director
Tom’s route into finance has been anything but typical. After earning a degree in Engineering, he spent five years travelling the world and working across all different industries — from construction sites to tech recruitment. Along the way, he built strong communication skills and a real appreciation for working closely with people from all walks of life.
Now back in the UK and studying for a Master’s degree in AI and Robotics, Tom leads the technical side of Fenbridge. While his skill set is firmly rooted in tech, his approach is always people-first.
